Interesting - I would never have thought to do that to this sort of image.
If you changed the colour of the sky, would we know? - can we see the original?

the original out of camera is all red, it has been processed in Adobe Bridge and then channel swapped in PS to produce this result. The final result with false colour IR depends upon the chosen colour temperature in AB and then colour balance in PS....along with hue/sat. I should explain, complicating all this is the WB when the shot is made. My camera has a custom WB set by the people who converted my camera, so I usually leave the pic 'as shot' when processing. However choosing alternatives produces some interesting results.
