Took these today at the Mississippi in very cold conditions but was a great outing .

Shame about the wing tips on the seconds one, there's a lot of detail loss on the shaded side, but kudos all the same. You are by and far much closer than I have managed. Killer shots.

Thanks , I know the left wing.... way to dark but I liked the eye first time out at the river for these beauties this year , hopefully there will be many more trips to the river
