#2 and #6 are my favorites but all of them are great. #6 may be the best bird shot I have ever seen.

And several of Maria to go with your usually marvellous bird photos. After all, you are the forum's Best Bird Photographer, I say . Sleeping Maria looks so cute!

I particularly like the fawns in the grass (is there a plural? One fawn, two fawns?). Aaaand the woodpecker! I mean: he placed himself in the "spotlight" for you (that big thing up there, you know which, eh?). Cool thing!

#6 is a Cedar Waxwing, and the Woodpecker is a Pileated.

Mixed bag indeed - the rest of us would have been proud to have posted just one. Number 7 of Maria - hardly wildlife, but a beautiful study for the album - most of my photography when I get the chance is of grandchildren, candids mainly and family groups for friends in the village.

Keep them coming - you are an inspiration and any we post that passes your judgement has us glowing for the rest of the day.
