Model/Product Shot (self portrait)

this is how its should be done man!

As for your picture, i think its well done. A bit more rim light would have been nice. I would frame it differently and remove the dead space on the left. Seems like you framed to comply with the ROT but a straight up shot like this on a plain white background, i would put you right on the center.

I heard a good one the other day......

Did you hear Chuck Norris has a Gmail account? Its gmail@ChuckNorris.com (NOTE: its not funny if I have to explain it )

I put the second pic in the OP

Bump for the squared shoulder pic in OP.

I like the squared shoulder picture a lot better. My only question, and this is completely nit-picking, is if you can get some detail back into your belt in PP? The knot and the loose end look a little blown out and grab my eye.

Ballistics, have you tried comparing your image to another image from a martial arts catalog? I would say that that would be a good bet. My dad taught Tae Kwon Do for 20 year's so I know there are a lot of mags out there! He always used Century. Shot #1 has that product magazine feel but I think your posture is a bit timid. Are you trying to shoot the full uniform, or just the top? Full uniform I would think that you need full body in frame just to show the legs.

Actually, that was filled in with white on accident. I'll fix that. Thanks for picking that up.

I think we're all adults and capable of speaking for ourselves, but thank you.

Your comment was interpreted assuming you were a stranger to OP- bear that in mind.

No , you hit the nail on the head in your first reply.
