you can't do this with PS 7 can you? I think you have to have at least CS or CS 2 :-(

This should work with any program that lets you do masks. The procedure might be a bit different.

the lens blur is the part that i can't seem to do on PS 7

It has a blur filter though. Use that. Probably "more blur". It's been a while since I used that version. If it's not adjustable, you might have to do it a couple of times.
