Money to Spend

I don't have anything against tattoos (I have a few), they just don't seem to be the thing I'd like to spend money on these days. Gear all the way, lol.

What gear, that's the question, I guess. I don't know what you have or need. If it were me, with $620, I would probably spend it all on film. OR, a new medium format camera. Tough call. I guess the camera would be the smart choice. I can buy film a little at a time, after-all.

Surely there's a lens or something you've had your eye on?

Ooh, that's right. Hey Bright, didn't you just get a film camera? Maybe you can spend $150-200 of that on a film scanner to cut down on long-term film costs if you think you'll be shooting more film. Without paying for scanning services, the costs of shooting film is cut by more than half. That scanner would pay for itself very quickly.

And you'd still have at least $400 left to play with.

If you're shooting film and don't have a scanner, that's definitely what I would put the money on.

A scanner is a great idea. It'll pay for itself. It's on my list, that's for sure.
