Monitor question

I am looking to buy a decent monitor between $550.00 to $750.00 dollars that is calibrated. Would this be a good choice? Dell UltraSharp

No such thing as a monitor that "is calibrated."

You have to calibrate it once you have it set up. You then have to re-calibrate it periodiaclly. There are monitors sold with calibrators included.

So I would still have to buy a calibration kit and calibrate it. even though they claim its Certified, in-factory calibration?

When they leave the factory they are calibrated but over time they will need it again.

So you will still need to get a calibration took.

That being said those a nice monitors

While I use this very calibrator and can highly recommend it, I must warn you that this model is obsolete and no longer listed as a current product on X-Rite's website.
