Moon over Maryland

I hope this hasn't been done to death on this forum, since I'm fairly new to this site, I haven't seen this shot yet. I finally figured out the exposure setting to capture it properly. It's was shot with a 300mm f2.8, so it was cropped quite a bit.

No, I just had my 300mm on a tripod. I would love to get a telescope camera combo.

Way cool. The moon comes back into TPF every month, just like in nature, and there actually is a theme up and still running in the Photo Themes ONLY dedicated to the moon, where you will find a good many of these, but also other moon photos ... to find that theme thread, you may want to go through the index list, there you find a link to the theme.
