I got a new umbrella today. It is a bounce instead of a shoot through. I used it camera right and a reflector on the camera left.

I like the light effect, but it looks sort of "cool" to me. What do you use for a reflector?

Thanks, I can warm it up a bit. I have an Interfit 5-in-1 round reflector.

Designer, did you click on it to open it because I am getting that strange blue/green color on my thumbnail. It was at 5200, in this one here I moved it to 5800.

Oh, big difference! Now it looks normal. Is there that much difference between the thumbnail and the full size? Wow.

I used lr4 auto wb to get the first and then warmed it up in the second. No the umbrella is white.

WB on the hi-res versions looks good, but it's wayy out of whack on the thumbnails. A compression issue I'm assuming.

Yes there is a big difference on my monitor from the thumbnail. I don't know what the deal is.

Thanks tired iron. Which one do you feel is the good wb? The first or second?

Looking at the hi-res of #2, I would stay that it's almost spot-on. #1 seems to have an ever-so-slight green cast.

Thanks Tirediron. That's what I get for trusting the auto wb on LR4.

Yeah, that's weird, how big of a difference it is between the thumbnail and the full version--same thing happened to the recent "headshot" photo I posted.

I'm with tirediron, I like the wb on the second the best. But, if you hadn't posted the second, the full version of the first probably would have looked pretty good to me. It's only when I compare the two (the full versions) that the first looks at all off to me.

On the other hand--I'm a pretty bad judge of wb, so what do I know?

sm4him, you can't be as bad as I am with wb. I've had that thumbnail problem when I attach photos from my hard drive. I don't seem to get them when I use flickr.

I don't know if it's just me but she looks kinda green.

Edit: never mind... once I clicked on it it looked better.
