Hi all
I've decided to become an amateur photographer, simply for the reason that ever since my first camera phone I've absolutely loved taking pictures. My wife has a nice Nikon SLR camera with a tripod which she has generously agreed to let me maul in my early attempts at learning what f-stop is and all that stuff. So far it has survived.
So I thought I'd join this forum to help with understanding and, hopefully, contribute some of my experience along the way.
