Possibly the best pub in the world – Tynan’s in Kilkenny. Early morning with the sunlight glinting on last night’s barrels. Had to wait a few hours before settling down at the counter with a Guinness.

Ah, O'Brien, this reminds me of the fact that for months now I have planned to start a theme over in the Photo Themes called "Pub Fronts". Irish pub fronts are the most colourful there are (hence now b+w, please, since the COLOUR is so Irish!), and I took quite a number of pub front pictures when we were over last summer. This should finally make me start that thread on that specific theme...
