Mother Earth from 38,000 Feet

I was on a flight, today, from Portland, OR to Phoenix. A couple of shots from 38,000 feet over Nevada and Arizona.

Terrible, rainy day in Portland, and the same in Phoenix. These shots were in between.

Nikon D70 in the shutter mode, 1/2500 sec, manual focus at infinity, Elements 2.0 to enhance a bit. Good clear weather helped, too.

Snazzy stuff. Most of my out-the-window-of-the-plane shots came through with a lot of glare off of the window itself. :|
