My best friends wedding

This is my first post to the site. Hello all...

My best friend got married this weekend in kirkland, WA. I was his best man so I didn't have much time to be pulling out my camera. I just got my new canon T2i 2 weeks ago, upgraded from my nikon D40 I had since it came out, so I was very eager to take some photo's but I just didn't have the time. The pro photographer that was there took a liking to me and took me under his wing. Answered so many questions of mine and I learned more that one afternoon than the last year of trying to read and teach myself.

Anyway, here are the couple shots I was able to get. both portraits were caught natural (no staging or additional lighting)

While i was taking this photo, I was being called to do something so I took it in haste. I wish I could have gone back and lined up properly.

The photographer staged them for this photo and I was standing next to him so I figured I would take advantage. There was a large window in back of them which let a lot of natural light come through. problem was it was very dark around them and I didn't have my external flash handy. had to do the best i could with the light available.

hahahaha, both great brands. comes down to personal preference if you ask me. I loved my Nikon, but HATED it after shooting with a canon!

Yeah. Not too bad. Much better then a couple cheesy Iphone snaps.
