Like the first one...someone once said "never work with animals or children"...I certainly find animals, particularly cats a pain to photograph...just as the shot is being taken, they unerringly look away or do something unplesant.

I prefer the second one by far, despite the lack of eye contact, especially the way the light catches his whiskers.
