My daughter let me take some shots...what do you think?

I noticed I hardly had any updated pics of my daughter soon to be teenager. So we went to a location I wanted to try out and played. Any input would be appreciated. I did some post processing, the wall was pretty plain so trying to work with that.

From the name of the post I can just see you begging your daughter to photograph her. I sometimes have to bribe (I mean give incentives) to my kids to allow me to photograph them. I have a better question. What do you think of the photos?

She is usually pretty willing but my son is not at all. I think that I am getting better with my poses (not much for poses to begin with) and composition but my still need a ton of work on the lighting. Some people on here has such a keen eye with tints and colors. I like the vintage look so I am trying to get a good first product then take it from there.

I like the overall look of them...I'd love to see a different facial expression...like...smiling...in some of them she looks bored or not happy to be there lol. She is beautiful! I love her freckles.

In addition to the other comments, I'll add that her face is under-exposed in most of the images, and also watch the little details, the strands of hair that trail across her face could have been brushed aside.

So... I love the very natural feel of the photos, and I think her freckles are adorable. That being said, I agree with TenaciousTins... don't really care for the facial expressions. If she doesn't want to smile, you could always just have her be solemn in the photos. Almost anything is better than a forced smile. Other than the expression, though, I think these are great.
