It's not a question of love or hate, so don't fool yourself that it is.

It looks to me like you are taking essentially random pictures and beating them up with post-processing to make 'interesting' pictures.
But that's not the way that art works. If the technique has no relation to the content, adds no further meaning or emotion then the combination is meaningless.

And that's what is happening here.

What a great piece of advice. These are words I will keep in mind while trying to develop my skills as a photographer. To the OP, I like the guitar picture but I also feel that these, as a whole, are over worked.
