Tell me what you think! I really like how the last one has that blurred effect. This was with my coolpix camera, it has a pretty good macro setting, the only thing I like about it lol. :p

Is this real?

I don't mean to be rude.. but

#1 Highlights are blown out badly...
#2 Highlights are blown out badly... and the crop is really terrible
#3 best of the bunch.. but looks soft, and has WB issues..
#4 totally overexposed.... destroyed!

Are you trying to do this?

Yeah I was just experimenting with the macro and everything there was intentional. I was trying to give them unreal bright lighting, which i achieved in photoshop.

Okay I got kind of hyped up there lol so I know my pictures aren't the best because they were with a bad camera and I am still an amateur. But my effects were intentional :)

You need to get your monitor calibrated. You can't be seeing what we are.
Aren't you shooting with a D3100? It's not a BAD camera. It's extremely capable of shooting some great shots.

You mentioned that you have your first "Child Photoshoot" coming up in a couple of weeks? Are you sure you are ready for that? Are you charging for it? Do you know how to use flash, DOF, etc....?

2 screen names?

I was using a coolpix camera with these photos. I think I am ready, this is my first photoshoot and they know that.

Discovered you had 2 screen names and deleted one post?
Coolpix is an excuse. Even no name point and shoots can make awesome photographs. These are not even remotely close to decent.

This has got to be a joke. Right? You're joking?

Do these IN ORDER if you want to succeed at shooting for others:

1: cancel all plans to shoot for others

2: study photography

3: learn how to use editing software

4: spend years taking thousands upon thousands of quality photos

5: if you've survived, you're probably ready.

Side Note: all cameras take good pictures, the only thing that can ever be improved is the thing 6 inches behind the camera. No matter how cheap or expensive the camera is.

Bahhhh.......lol

Love this Charlie! But I am a sucker for fairy statues!

All of my photos were taken with P&S. Most with The Nikon Coolpix. It can produce nice photos. This one is a fairy statue taken with the same camera you used.
