It's a lovely picture, the hat is great and I agree with others' assessment that the reflection would work nicely in this shot. I think the little space in front of her knees (under her belly) where you can see through makes it seem uncomfortable. Put the hat tassle in front of that, let it seem like she is flat against the surface, it will seem fuller.
