my first attempt at some portraits C&C please

hey everyone,
this is my first time using lights and doing portraits. I'm looking into doing body scape style. I know these aren't the best, but I used a florescent bulb set up from home depot.
so any help on bodyscapes would be greatly appreciated!
I used a white wall as my background, and Im wanting to use black next time.
but my set up
Nikon D7000
50mm 1.8
ISO 100
F/5 1/50
and a double florescent bulb set up from home depot

not bad, you may be way to into yourself though.. 1st and 2nd are dark, you NEED a different set up.

They're pretty good, they could use some post-processing work imo to bring up the contrast and on #3 clone of some of the more obvious marks on the wall

haha that was one reason i was partial to posting them. i just haven't had a chance to try it with anyone else. and i was pretty eager to use it, by different set up you mean not against a white wall? haha

Needs more contrast. Maybe use some oil to bring out the highlights

Back when words actually meant something, these would have been called "figure studies". Perhaps the third could be called a portrait, but in a different presentation.

Also, (maybe just me) but I think they're underexposed.

If I could see them better, I might be able to comment on the frame, etc.
