my first dragon fly.... anyone know what kind it is?

Cool grab PL , ah don't worry about the quality stuff it all comes in time. You just have to want to take the time to get the shot and know they can be tough to get. Right place right time with the right gear rest is up to you, know you will get a second chance.

They remind me of the Army's Apache helicopters when in flight.

All these close up bug shots have revised my opinion of the little critters; when you get to see them in detail, they are fascinating.

The b/w shot really does resemble a little helicopter.
