Long story short, I bought myself a d7000 with a 18-140 lens for Christmas. I have taken a few pictures with it, but nothing to brag about, mostly just some snapshots of the kids. I recently started reading about the settings and doing some free tutorials online and really started getting more and more interested. Well, last week a buddy of mine wanted to go try to get some shots of the meteor shower and told me he had a tripod I could use till I bought one, and I took this gem before leaving. Its one of my favorite photos so far. Not sure what I had my settings at, but I love the way it came out. I am on my work computer now, or I would attach some of the (not) meteor shower that we sat around all night waiting on

That's a nice shot, i'd clone out that red dot. It really takes attention away from the subject

Yeah , TV was in sleep mode or something I guess. I didn't do any touch ups on it, I don't have a program yet :)
