This is the first steps in the world of photography.I need your opinions and criticisms to improve myself.

I think he's trying to branch out and take a photo of something we don't see photos of too often. I think it'd be a good idea to include some more context and/or what you're trying to achieve with this photo. Then, it'd be easier to critique and give you some pointerz

Your branch is interesting (although small). You might tell us what you want to achieve. You have captured good deptn-of-field and the buds could be interesting if it was a bit bigger...
