I felt as if I should start up a small gallery here to showcase some of my work and get some criticism on what I can do to improve and so on

If you want the best critique, I would suggest limiting your post to a maximum of four images. Detailed C&C can take several minutes per picture, and even at only 1/minute per image, your current post would require in excess of then minutes at a minimum. Probably more time than most people can devote to it.
