My Good Friend Lauren (and a surprise)

The surprise was for me at least anyway. Of course, as always I welcome your critique, however, these shots were made to get the exposure down for my new 4x5 film camera. I happen to like them (maybe not so much the third one), but then again ... they're mine so I'm biased. But at any rate I ain't married to 'em so please tell me what you think I did wrong (or right!)



Anyway ... the surprise ... so bring the first one up full screen, then step back from the monitor about 15-20 feet. About where your pinky completely covers the image. She appears as though she's looking off to her left. But as you walk closer you suddenly see she's staring into the lens. Complete accident but what the heck ... it's one I take a little bit of delight in.

I'm sorry, this is not the film image, I didn't mean to give that impression. This is a digital image with my d810 before the film shots, to make sure I had the exposure right. I should have the film scanned tonight.
