I'm not a huge fan, it seems a bit awkward. For a candid shot, the facial expression works.

Try a different background, and use some light from a different direction. Her facial expression is calling for a soft picture, so use that 50 1.4 you have in your bag.

I would love to be able to do that, IF I could get her to sit still for more than a few seconds !!
