In other news, 5 of my SD cards just went through the washing machine AND LIVED.

I found an SD card in a cloth pouch on the beach, obviously washed up as it was partially covered in sand. I soaked it in fresh water, dried it and put it in a card reader hoping that if any images were available, I could trace it back to the owner. Card read just fine and after posting it to some localFB pages, I did indeed locate the owner. I've heard short of torching one, they're pretty much indestructible.

Well an sd card is a bit of a random thing to find on a beach. Tourists probably? Find any gold?

I pretty much was in tears when I put on my fresh pair of pants, reached in the pocket and pulled out a fistfull of 128 and 64 gb cards.

I'm very surprised they still work. I don't even know why they were in my pocket, but woo-hoo!
