So, my next purchase is the strobe with a professional looking back drop. Then I will get some sort of softbox. Probably will make my own beauty dish. Add a hair light. Then another strobe.

I have some but those are for me. Sorry kids floating in space doesn't work for you. Actually, if you take a little time to look at the image, the background is blue denim.

I took the time, the background (whatever color or material it may be) appears black and thus gives the impression of a human being floating in space without cause.

I am glad you have some photos of the day in your personal collection.

For a more natural smile you need to get a good joke book.
She is as cute as a button! And now I want to see some photos of that tea party, that would be really cute.

As for the hairs. I would leave them, especially in #1, since it has a behind the scenes feel. And if you don't mind, I would like to try a edit on #2 just for the heck of it. Is that okay?

I really like these images, they really pop. Not to mention she's a cute young lady with a great nose crunch and smile.

Cute! I would leave the hairs. I agree about the background being to dark. Try pulling up the shadows!

Okay, so I have really been getting into compositing, and here is my edit!

These are both very nice. I don't mind the isolation of a black background. I think next time go for a white background. White adds a sense of purity and innocence like you shot it in heaven.

PS- The crooked crown and loose hairs add character to the child. These are fun pictures, relish in the fun and don't sweat the small stuff.
