You are biased...sorry. All I see is the top of the head, I don't know how you could know if the baby was cute or not. You need to get the face in the picture.

Yes i know i didn't capture his face in this, I was going for the tiny hands gripping the bottle compared with mum's huge hands

He seems awfully little...he can't even hold his own ba-ba by himself! So, he's cute,eh? I wish I could be the judge of that, but all I can see is that he's good a good head full of thick, beautiful, brown hair! Wonderfully thick hair for a baby. I normally try to photograph babies from the opposite angle as this, and I do think that it's best to use the flash pointed straight up at the ceiling,always BOUNCE FLASH, and never direct flash pointed at their delicate eyes. Enjoy the new nephew! Maybe you'll become the official family photographer for his parents!

hmmm maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the cute thing.. What I was asking is, is it a good shot capturing how tiny he is, drinking away without a care in the world. I just happened to be sitting there while it was going on so thought i'd try and capture the moment from a different angle. We have TONS of his face too.

Sorry, but I will have to say, 'No', it is not. First, he actually appears quite large in the image relative to the person holding him because he is closer to the camera, and as for cares and concerns, one really needs to see a face to get an idea of how they're feeling. One of the dangers of photographing family and friends is that you tend to remember much more about the moment than just what is captured in the photograph, for instance, you have seen the child from all angles, and know how large (or small) he actually is which naturally tends to slightly cloud your perception of the photograph.
