My neighbor Joe had just lost his daughter and I was sitting talking with him about it. I decided to take my camera out and try to capture the emotions that were there. This man was filled with grief, sadness and emptiness.

Well done. I think you achieved that in the first one, 'though I think it would have worked well to have a little more room, but the emotions come through well.

I appreciate the feed back.. His room was literally TINY, it was once used as a spare storage area so it was tough to try to get any more room. Definitely noted.

I love these images - very emotive. On the second image is that a skull in the foreground?? Whatever it is it's a tad distracting. I'd like to see a tighter crop on that image,

That is his shirt he was wearing. It was some day of the dead style shirt.
