My New lens just jammed ...no more movement to focus...

I get through so many lens cloths wiping finger prints off the camera, now carry micro fibre cloth just for hands. The oils are also acidic if I touch a new coin and leave print over time it will etch the surface slightly. Hence I am so fussy on touching the lens lol

did anyone ever have this happen....My .tamron lens focus stuck completely 0n the tamron 18-400..i purchased new last year.. now using my oldest lens.. will send this in for repairs ..still under warranty.. but curious if this ever happened before....... it is totally jammed..........

Years ago I had a Sigma short zoom that jammed I put away and it fixed itself. I don't recommend denial as a repair method but it worked

that's awesome.. sometimes it is worth it to not endure the stress. Out of sight out of mind..
