My new (old) Nikon D1x.

So many of you know I have a complete Canon setup.
Recently I had issues with ALL of it (lenses and cameras) were just not making the grade.

so i decided to just try out Nikon.
I picked up some gear and shot some test shots.

This is from my D1x. (This for the uninitiated, is a 5 Mp camera).

uninteresting for sure, but overall, not bad for a 20 year old camera that is an APS-c sensor at 5 Mp.

It's amazing how much better digital cameras have gotten since the early 2000's. But it does look like film.
