EDIT: Why is it that in PS the colour of the pic is much richer and more saturated and it seems like a totally different pic when posted here?

If I'm not mistaken, PS uses a different color profile (or something like that) than most other programs. Although, if you're like me, and you have PS CS2, and the color differences are kinda big...I have no idea why that is, but I hate it.

I used another program to resize the photo and the result was much better
