It would have been better to shoot from closer to the subject, with a wider aperture to blur the background and create a good separation for the subject. 3 you shot at 190mm and f5.6 with a 1/60 th shutter speed. F2.8 and 50, 60 mm would have given you a higher shutter to avoid motion blur, a better bokeh of the background and better contrast.
In Photoshop you can blur the background, adjust levels for better contrast and sharpen.

#3 is definitely my favorite of the bunch. Looks like all of the pictures have a green tint, easy fix in PP.

He couldn't shoot at F2.8 with that lens. F4.5 is the fastest that it can go...

For not using flash and a wide aperture, they are good. But as stated, a wide aperture, say 3.2 or 2.8, and a focal length of 70-100mm, and a fill flash, she would have been better separated from the background. Still, a good shoot, and #3 is my favorite (expression and pose - wise)

Jake

I realize that. Shooting seniors is a paid proposition, usually. One should have the tools to do the job. Even so f 4.5 and 70 mm would have accomplished most.

The posing is not flatterering to her body/facial type, and the use of light indicates little or no knowledge of photographic lighting, available light or otherwise.

Lighting wise #1 is by far the worst, with #2 the least poor of the 4.

Do I understand correctly, you got paid to make the photos?
