My simplest winter pic...

...or one of the simplest, winter has just began! I just liked the simple composure of it. Anyway, tell me what dou you think of this one:

I like it, just wish the leaves where alittle less centered. originally i was going to say move them to the right but if you moved them to the left the shadows could work in there well...

Well, actually, it's the original shot and yes, I really wish I had captured the shadows but well...
I could actually de-centre it by cutting some on the right. I'll post that version later on

Ok, Here are 2 new version of it. One de-centered and one really tight. But somehow, I still prefer the original... maybe precisely cause it's the original

Nice capture of the texture of the snow, which is hard to do. We just got half a meter of snow here today

You did capture the texture well. If I had to choose a crop, the first. I think the shadow adds to the photo. If anything, I would suggest cropping in from the left and leaving everything on the right?

It is a pity you did not let the shadows work for you. But other than that, this photo works really nicely, and your snow looks like sugar even. So well have you achieved to get its texture into the photo... and it stayed really white, which I like a lot.
