Just playing around tonight.

Gear and set up
7Dmk2 with Canon 70-200 F4 at 70mm
1/200 F13 ISO 100
Cameron fog grey backdrop
Light power
Camera right 1/3
left 1/4
backdrop 1/4
left rim 1/4

Lighting setup.
Soft boxes were 1.5' either side
Backdrop light 2' behind
rim was 4' back to the left
I stood about 6' from the backdrop.

Post was some skin blemish removal, sepia, addition of light noise and vignette.

I was just typing the same comments. You pull off the "sinister look" a lot better then your young counterpart. Not sure if that's good or bad! LOL
