Using Derrel's method hue -35 sat -25 dropping the yellow hue I think different. Better, not sure?

Suppose I could layer in CS and selectively adjust tones but I rarely go back to fix.

Second edit is better. You already know what I think. Good placement of the sun and good selection of dark background.

TBH, I would go B&W with this.
