She's a great model! I love to OOF foreground and background elements in this. I think that I would like to see this rendered as a crisp, high-contrast sepia-toned or creamtone B&W Lightroom conversion, to eliminate the yellow cast on her face, from all those yellow flowers in the field (I saw the pullback shot...there is a LOT of yellow light in that field--a ton of yellow light!).

Not much I can do about the yellow saturation, is there? I'm in a huge expanse of mustard flowers.

I pulled it into Lightroom, went to Color, and on the Yellows, I went to Hue -85, then Saturation +21 ...which brought her skin tone to a very accurate skin tone for her, but the yellow mustard flowers lost a lot of their true yellow coloration, but the pictorial effect was very,very strong!

And Oh-My-Gosh!!!!! LR's Antique Grayscale pre-set conversion with a Minus 1.65 EV exposure drop and a +13 point recovery looks FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah...and perhaps a quicker way might be to use Lightroom's Adjustment Brush and "paint on" a cooler White Balance or 'paint on" a Tint Adjustment just on her face...but that requires more work than my quickie Yellow Saturation Minus. But with a .NEF file, it's probably be worth the time and effort to do that.

I tried that, then I remembered that her skin is yellow and red....

No I didn't. I rarely do as I can adjust in post. The issue with this image is really that I shot at noon with bright sunlight reflecting so strongly off those mustard flowers. I didn't plan this very well. Shooting at a later hour, just before after sunset would produce more desirable results I'm sure.

I have found my expodisc to be so helpful in situations like this. Because you shoot it from the point of your subject, it eliminates the color casting.
