Naturial light portrait

first time Shooting portrait using the great 50mm 1.2
Some comment about posing or technique or anything ! Cheers

And try and FILL the space, or at least most of it, with the human subject and not uninteresting background. Fill the majority of the frame with that lovely woman, and not green shrubbery, or blank wall, or wooden flooring.

I agree with Derrel about your second and third images. If you don't go with an uncropped vertical for those, at least consider a tighter crop (square, maybe?). In these I don't think the backgrounds add anything to the shots and can be a bit distracting. However, in the last one I like the amount of dead space blank wall left in the shot. What you've captured of her conveys a feeling of motion, of vitality, to me. Going vertical or cropping this to remove that dead space would box her in too much, leaving me feeling that shel is cramped in the frame rather than free.

Very pretty girl and the processing is not bad, just work on the composition. Shoot her again and repost.

Sometimes when the clipping happens at joints, it's subconciously unnatural. In this case, the images clipped at the elbows feel off.
