Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I am a amateur photographer and my favorite shots are landscape. I have a good dslr that works well. I have about $900.00 to spend, but I am confused about what to do. I have been looking at advanced point and shoots such as the Cannon G12 and the Olympus XZ-1, but I'm just not sure. I am even open to selling my dslr to buy a new dslr. Keep in mind that I love landscapes. Thank you so much!

Given the limited amount of information you've given, there's not much help we can give you at this point. You might try this thread.

Asking a bunch of strangers what camera you should buy is like asking what woman do they think you will be happy with. Everybody has their favorites, but in the end its you that has to live with it/her.

I suggest you should visit your local camera store, and I'm not talking about bestbuy. Get a feel on few cameras, and talk to the store associates. I like nikon, and other people like canon. You should do some research on few models, and decide for urself.

If you have a budget eliminate all cameras that are too expensive. That will help narrow things down a lot. Then compare features that you will find most useful.....night shooting? go for one with low noise at high ISO. Variety of shooting? go for one with a lot of lenses available. New 4/3 cameras have few lenses. When you do this you can whittle it down to half a dozen cameras. Then its just personal choice. I like reading the photo magazines that give ratings and would only consider buying a camera that fell in the 93+ range.
