Need help with photoshop brush stoke preview.

How do I get the brush preview box to go across the whole panel? I can't seem to find the option in any of the menus. Everyone else's brush stroke preview stretches across the panel.

Mine looks the same. I find the new brush menu confusing and overwhelming, actually.
