Need help with videos

I had taken videos on a Sanyo camera I no longer have. I just bought a canon powershot and put my SD card in the canon, all the pictures are there but none of the videos are, how do I fix this?

Generally, you need the same model camera that took the original video to view them in-camera.

How would I be able to take it off the SD card, and get it like onto my phone? Or is there another model camera that would show the videos?

You can download them to your computer, then transfer them to your phone.
