need help

please help me!!!
i just started school, and i need to buy a film camera. i already have a canon digital rebel xt.
i dont want to spend a millon dolars on a camera for just one class!!!
there is this preaty good deal on craigslist on a canon t-50 with three skylight lens!
if i buy this camera will those lens fit my rebel?
and i can resale just the camera when i finish class!!!

get a canon AE-1

the lenses will only fit your rebel if you get an FD-EF adapter.

thank you i found what i think is a great deal
but which is better AE-1 or the t-50?
the T-50 comes with three lens
and the AE-1 only comes with one
i only need it for school dark room experiments and after school is over it will probably go back on craigslist thanks you

I don't have any experience with the t-50, but I have lots of experience with the AE-1 and I love it. I'm just suggesting what I know and like because I think everyone secretly wants to be just like me... even if they don't know it yet.

I'd suggest you look for a film rebel (or and EOS camera) because the lenses will be interchangeable with your current camera. Although, EF-S lenses (if you have any) won't be compatible with the film cameras.

It shouldn't cost too much for a film Rebel. I actually just got one (with two lenses) for free yesterday.

i need a film slr 35mm camera for school
and i need to be able to use the same lens on both cameras!!
the profesor said that a metalic one is better than plastic
the rebel film cameras are to new!!!
what should i do?

well if you need to use the same lens on both, just get a 35mm with an EF hookup.
