Need some advice and critique

Please tell me reasons why my photo below would not be accepted as a professional photo. I mean please try to find as many mistakes on it as you can. I would like to improve myself. This is my best photo with my new EOS 50D + Sigma 17-70 so far. Its a panorama actually:

I like many aspects of this photo, yet I am not a pro and I am not qualified to determine what is pro quality and what is not. I do like it though and don't expect that it was an easy shot to set up and work on, for what that's worth.

Maybe it would be accepted as a professional photo. Many professional photos are tack sharp, carefully composed and boring as fuck.

It would be helpful if you'd explain what you think a professional photo is, so we can help compare your photo against other professional photos.

The only way it can be categorized as a professional photograph is if you were paid to take it. If you mean to ask whether it is of a quality that could be mistaken for one taken by a skilled professional, perhaps. It's a nicely executed night-time panorama, at least from a technical perspective, but, to paraphrase white's comment, the subject matter is less than exciting - what is your thought/intention with this image?

Ok, the problems i see are, lots of iso noise, so its slightly fuzzy, the boat chairs in the lower right corner and the biggest.... Every pro landscape photographer is doing Tons of HDR work. It blows the pants off normal style photos I wish i could use HDR more in Wedding Photography, but alas, I can not.. Its a nice photo though, def one to show to your friends and family
