new and deciding on a camera

I am new to the sport and was wanting to know if starting with the D90 is to much camera for a beginer. I am looking to purchase a camera very soon. i will be using the camera mainly for wildlife (all kinds). I dont want to purchase a camera and later wish i would have spent a little bit more money on a nicer camera, so im thinkin the d90 wont disapoint. i like the hd video on it as well.

if you've got the money, i'd say do it.. the d90 is a really nice camera

The D90 is a sweet camera. If it was out when I was looking, I probably would have bought that instead of my D300 and bough some better glass. The D90 is certainly not too much camera for a beginner since is has that way cool dial at the top with a full auto mode. So- until you get through that huge manual and figure out what all the buttons do, the green auto setting or the program auto setting (p) will give you great photos.
