Had to look it up since I've never heard of an FT QL before, but it's kind of like a mechanical AE-1 from what I can tell. Very cool. Does it take a battery for the light meter at least?

What kind of film do you want to shoot? Have you shot film before? I really like shooting black and white and developing the negatives myself. It's relaxing and rewarding.. inexpensive too.

My dad gave it to me since he knew I was getting into the hobby. This camera has quite a history too, followed him through the Vietnam conflict.

I previously had no intention of getting into film, but I can see this as a fun little side thing to bring along with the digi.

I don't know much about this camera yet, going to have to read up on it a bit.
