So, I am looking to get another camera that I can take with me anywhere. I want something that I can take on my motorcycle and not worry about it getting wet or bouncing around. I live on a farm and I dont really like taking my DSLR over there either because of the dust and dirt. I have done some research and narrowed it down to a few cameras: the Panasonic TS3, the Sony TX10, and possibly one of these Olympus tough cameras, although not sure which model.
Each camera seems to have its own pros and cons, none are really deal breakers, but some of the functions are nice to have, like the Panasonic's GPS function. I would like something with a decent burst function (3 or higher), good zoom (I realize you cant get much with these folded lens cameras), and HD movie mode.
They all seem to be decent cameras, and they have good ratings, but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them or has anything to say about them. I have a DSLR already so I do not need something that takes super duper 18 MP shots; I just want a rugged camera that I do not have to worry about wrecking. Also if anyone has any other cameras that they would recommend that would be great, just looking for some advice here. Thanks in advance for any help!
