New here~ not sure where to introduce myself

Hi! I am new to this site. Didn't have time to introduce myself yesterday.

I have been wanting to be a photographer since I can remember, but situations and conditions have prevented me from persuing that dream. Still is, for that matter, but I am hoping that will change soon. I will be 53 yrs old next month, never too old to learn something new.

The only camera I have right now is a little pocket Sony Cyber Shot, not a bad little camera, but would rather have a Canon. I have a few lens for it from my other camera that decided one day to break on me.. not digital. I really miss it. Took some real nice Photos of a few weddings with that camera.. the newly-weds liked them better than the professionals they hired!! But that was just for fun.

Anyway, I am here. I hope to learn some things, get better about taking pics and maybe make a friend or 2
