New Infrared

Hey TPF. I just wanted to share these old color---turned infrared photos. The photos themselves are about a year to two years old, however the infrared has recently been applied. What do you think?

i hate to tell you but this looks nothing like infrared. For starters trees will show up almost white here is an example of true infrared: shot on infrared film.

That's some crazy hair. I like 2 and 3, with the effects on the trees/bush.

So, how can i achieve a more accuarate infrared look in Photoshop? I used the channel mixer and diffused glow. Is there another way?

hard to do, that's why i have the R72 filter. but to get true IR, you need to shoot IR film.
