New lens for canon 60d

Thank you for your response. I feel the same way. I rather have the 85mm but i was consured that it would be not be usable with my crop body. I checked you link it gives me a horizontal width of just over 1 meter. The way i tested it, was by putting a telelens at 85mm and 50mm and see how much distance i have to take fully photograph the baby. The 85mm is very tight. But if im going to get the full frame body in a few months, i can live with the fact 85mm is very tight.

So the important thing to think about is how soon will i get a full frame... I am basically waiting for the canon 5d mark IV... the 5ds is not really something i need. A guy told me that it is very good for landscape and detailed product photography. The files the 5ds creates are huge and he told me that I dont need that. He advised me to get the 5d mark iii instead.

So should i wait for mark 4, get the mark 3 (canon offers a cashback now so mark is like 2.3k usd ish atm). Or get the 5ds/5dsr?

The 2nd thing is the 5d mark 4 is so far just a rumour... right? So how big is the chance, it will be released this year.
