new lens ordered

Hi there
Just ordered new lens for my D40. It is Nikkor 55-200mm VR AF-S. I bought it on ebay for £124 (Jessops - £249.99)
I can't wait to get my hands on it. I hope to get it on Monday/Tuesday.

Half the price of Jessops, shocker! They really are ridiculous when it comes to price.

I'll keep an eye on what you shoot with this, it's a lens I'm considering.

I have that lens.

It it an amazing value, sharp beyond belief for the price. It is every bit as sharp at f/11 as my $1600US f/2.8 70-200 VR (which is a superior lens to the 55-200, no doubt... but costing 8 times as much it SHOULD be).

You'll love it, it is indeed a great lens, and a steal at that price. Sharp as a tack, and a pleasure to use.
